Since the word for woman is closely connected to the words <em>j\u00een\/jiyan<\/em>, meaning <em>to live\/life<\/em>, it is translate as the <strong>science of women and life.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-dark-dark-purple-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-20c91475b9dab183ba41273f20f6d3f0 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.625), 20px);\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The journey of this new science began in <strong>Kurdistan<\/strong> in <strong>2011<\/strong>. Since then, countless discussions, debates and research projects have been carried out within it&#8217;s framework. This is how the foundations of Jineoloj\u00ee were laid.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-custom-dark-dark-purple-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1cbc7eabbbf726ef30184a39e805ecb7 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.625), 20px);\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Abdullah \u00d6calan<\/strong> was the one who first used the term in his book <em>Sociology of Freedom<\/em>, published in <strong>2008<\/strong>. He writes:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-custom-dark-purple-color\">&#8220;I believe that a movement for women&#8217;s liberation, equality and democracy represents the key to solving our social problems, and such a movement must be based on a women&#8217;s science, known in Kurdish as Jineoloj\u00ee.&#8221;<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The word Jineoloj\u00ee is composed of the Kurdish words jin and loj\u00ee, which mean woman and science.
